ELBA Single-Shaft Compulsory Mixer of the EMS Series (The Original); Batches ranging from 500 to 2,500 litres
The mixers of the EMS series
feature the so-called double spiral which is the characteristic mixing
tool of the ELBA mixers. Over the last decades, this double-spiral
principle has proven successful in mixers of various sizes and ensures
short mixing times and high hourly capacities, yet achieving a good
mixture homogeneity.
Mixers of the EMS series handle: Heavy-,
light-weight and normal concretes, cold, warm and hot concretes,
polystyrene, expanded clay and foamed concretes, aqueous to earthy
slurries in the process technology, bitumenous mixtures, Betonit-clay
mixtures.
All ELBA mixers were rated "High-Performance"
according to the RILEM Final Report TC 150-ECM. Additionally, they meet
all DIN 459 requirements.
Advantages:
- Handling of grain sizes of up to 180 mm (depending on the mixer size)
- Excellent mixing intensity, good mixture homogeneity
- resulting in: short mixing times and high hourly capacities
- After a current failure, it can be restarted when still filled
- In case of emergency, it can be discharged without additional hydraulic equipment
- Even with under or overcharging it shows a good mixing efficiency
- Good access from outside and inside for maintenance work and no maintenance "below the platform" required
- Fast, simple and low-cost maintenance of mixer shaft bearing and mixer shaft.
