ELBA Control Systems

The ELBAMATIC is an efficient process control system that is based on the latest technology.
The ELBAMATIC control system consists of sequencing logic, visualization and data base. It is run via PC and connected to the power part by an INTERBUS SYSTEM. Manufacturer-specific hardware is not used. All its component parts are freely available on the market or can be purchased through ELBA.
The mixing and batching windows visualize the mixing system clearly. This visualization indicates the actual state of all the important functions of the system in an easily comprehensible form. All batching units, belts, scales, skip and mixer are visualized.
Dependent on the application of the concrete plants several monitors are needed. For standard applications two freely assignable monitors will be supplied: a plant monitor and an order planning / disposition monitor. Data input and plant operation are realized through PC keyboard or simply by mouse. Our new system distinguishes itself by intuitive learnability as well as simple and efficient operability.

ELBAMATIC control systems allow the following operating modes:

Automatic operating mode
The mixing and batching processes are run fully automatically on the basis of the entered plant parameters and order data.
Semi-automatic operating mode
In the semi-automatic operating mode, parts of the plant, e.g. charging, may, at any time, be switched over to the manual mode at the monitor. The rest of the plant continues to run fully automatically. Manual operation is done by mousecontrol directly on the visualization monitor.
Manual operating mode
At the visualization monitor, the operator may, at any time, switch over from the automatic to the manual operating mode. The complete mixing plant and the batching processes are, then, run by mousecontrol. The automatic operating mode is switched off completely.

All ELBAMATIC control systems may be designed in calibratable form according to EN 206 to enable  printouts of weighing results of automatic and non-automatic scales.

Apart from the ELBAMATIC SP8 and C8 control systems, ELBA offers other systems to be applied in concrete production, quality assurance and for concrete pumps.

ELBAMATIC SP8
This control system provides all the functions required for the operation of your concrete plant. The modular software shortens the training period and simplifies the operation. The software runs on a Windows operating system. The plant is run in the manual and automatic operating modes on the control computer, using mouse and keyboard. Individual components of the plant may be run manually while the rest of the plant continues to run in the automatic operating mode. The basic version of the system already includes extensive recipe, order, and customer managements. Up to 999 recipes as well as 30 orders, customers and sites may be entered and managed. The integrated delivery note editor simplifies the adaptation of the layout of the delivery note to individual requirements. The error management including statistics delivers clear information about the state of the plant at any time. The ELBAMATIC SP already features two monitors and ensures a high operation standard. The ready-to-use software is installed on a standard commercial PC system. The operator can configure the desktop as desired and place the individual input and indicating windows on the screens as needed. For more complex plants the visualization may be extended by additional monitors. 

ELBAMATIC C8
The high-end version of our mixing and batching software is meant for all customers needing above-standard customer and site management software, as well as unlimited order planning. The management program is much more extensive and allows unlimited management of i. a. drivers, vehicles, suppliers, and dealers. The statistics features are available as a complete package and allow extensive documentations and evaluations. The maintenance program can be configured individually and adapted to the respective requirements. Individual components are monitored timetriggered and in intervals. Maintenance works can be planned more efficiently, which enhances the reliability. The hardware of this batching system is a compact PC with solid-state drive. As this computer has no moving parts, it is more resistant to vibrations and dust and minimizes the fault hazards. The ELBAMATIC C8 is supplied including two monitors and enables an easily traceable control of the operation of the mixing plant. The individual indicating and input fields can be configured by the operator as desired and adapted to the most specific requirements. The possibility of adding further monitors also allows more complex concrete mixing plants to be realized. Company-specific delivery notes can be generated by the delivery note editor and do not require any additional equipment.

Manual operation desk and indicator panel
Optional for all  ELBAMATIC control systems and also available for retrofitting. The manual control desk shows the layout of the plant allowing a comfortable and easy-to-overview manual operation of the plant.

Consistency measuring system to be separately installed or to be integrated into the ELBAMATIC batching systems.

Consistency controlling system for the automatic production of constant concrete consistencies.

ELBA SFM
